Astrology : A Science or Superstition?
March 15, 2008
Human beings have always been curious to know their future. Whenever someone is in difficulty and cannot easily come out of it, he wants to know whether the days of his misery will come to an end at all. And if yes, then when? When one invests a great deal of time, effort or money into some project, it is natural to wonder whether that investment will bear some fruit. There have always been people around who have successfully predicted future events. Their methods have been different - some people can simply look into the future, some use tarot cards, some draw up an astrological chart which we call horoscopes, some read the lines in the palms of people. One cannot deny that future has been accurately predicted many a times and by many a people. Each successful prediction proves that it is indeed possible to correctly predict future.
7 Bowl Judgements
March 14, 2008
There is now one more set of 7 judgments God will release before the battle of Armageddon is set up and Jesus returns back to us for the second time. This last set of judgments are called the 7 Bowl judgments.
This will be God’s last and final attempt to try to get some of these hardened sinners to repent and turn to Him for salvation. Again, as with some of the last set of judgments, there are verses that once again say that they will still refuse to repent and turn to God.
These “bombshells” that God will throw at them are so supernatural, that these people will know, without any shadow of a doubt, that it is God doing all of this, but some of these verses will tell you that these people are still blaspheming God and still refusing to repent. When it is all said and done, we will all realize that God did everything He possibly could to get these people saved and pulled in. These events really do show us how “hardened” some people can really become towards God, and there is nothing that God Himself can do to turn these people around without breaking the free will that He has given to each and every one of us.
The 7 Trumpet Judgments
March 13, 2008
This article will deal with the next set of judgments called the 7 Trumpet Judgments. Things will now go from bad to worse compared to what just happened with the 7 Seal Judgments.
1. The First Trumpet
In this first Trumpet Judgment, God will rain down hail and fire upon the earth. Literally one third of the trees and grass will be burned up. Again, just imagine on a global scale that one third of all the trees on our planet will be burned to the ground! Here is the verse:
“The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.” (Revelations 8:7)
2. The Second Trumpet
In this next judgment, a “great mountain burning with fire” is thrown into the sea, turning one third of the sea into blood, killing one third of all the living creatures in the sea and also destroying one third of the ships that are in the sea when this happens. The “great mountain burning with fire” is probably a meteor that is launched by God to the earth to continue His judgment against all the wicked people now living. Here is the verse:
Sweeten Up Your Life
March 12, 2008
Sometimes life experiences can be like a lemon-flavored Tootsie Roll Pop. Hard and sour on the outside. Soft and sweet on the inside. Take getting dumped in a relationship for instance. Facing life alone can be tough for many people. Yet, there are behind-the-scenes benefits to every predicament! There’s even a sweet treat hidden within the experience of losing a lover.
You can find the "pop"-the sweetness-inside your tart tootsie roll by looking behind the surface appearance of your situation. Ask yourself some probing questions: "What’s been the beneficial effect of my predicament?" "What did I learn that helped me become a better person?" and "What good eventually came out of the situation?"
By focusing on how the experience served you, you can discover how the loss of a relationship can restore your trust in life. Or how losing your job or health can propel you closer to your dreams!
Let’s check out some real-life lemons. Here are some examples of the unseen rewards of losing your relationship, job and health. And how the sour aftertaste can become sweet!

7 Seal Judgements Continued
March 11, 2008
These 7 judgments will more than likely occur during the first three and half years of the Tribulation. Here is a description of each of these judgments and the Scripture verses to back it all up.
1. The First Seal
The first seal judgment is the releasing of the Antichrist upon our earth. The rider on the white horse is the Antichrist. You will notice that he is given a “crown” to wear. He is also riding a white horse. The color white stands for the fact that he will initially rise to power on peace and diplomacy. People will think he will have the answers to all of our problems. He will appear to be a “good guy.” However the color of his horse is going to change in the second seal revealing his true nature.
Also notice that this verse says that a crown was “given” to him. This means that God is “allowing” this man to come forth at this time to eventually rule most, if not all of the earth, for a specified period of time.
Shakespeare and Human Nature
March 10, 2008
Isn’t it peculiar how human nature evolves through environmental and socialogical conditions? It is evident that we, as Human beings, tend to characterize our capabilities, strengths and emotional intelligence through bonds of society. As we encounter diverse walks of life we have a bizarre and acute tendency to create new personalities. Through human nature, we unintentionally become one with our counterparts. One can travel East to West, North to South and eventually evolution of the mind and soul takes its natural course.
Although differences exist, we enable ourselves to find common bonds of life in general. In doing so, we can interrelate with each other and attain goals that apart, are seemingly impossible. In doing so, great undertakings are initiated. We revolutionize our world through interaction and coexistence.
Even the most minute action creates an affect. In human nature, we attract those that mirror ourselves in small ways. By relating to past and present circumstances, we shape our world of tomorrow. Like clay, we mold ourselves to the structures that be. Perhaps chameleons display the best sense of human nature as they cleverly and instantaneously blend with their surroundings. Not only is this an excellent manuever to avoid danger, it is also a profound way to “fit in” and become one with its immediate environment.
The 7 Seal Judgements
March 10, 2008
These next 3 articles are going to be extremely HARD HITTING. I am not going to pull any punches on what will be discussed in these articles. These article have to do with the JUDGMENTS AND WRATH OF GOD HITTING THIS EARTH FULL FORCE DURING THE 7 YEAR TRIBULATION - which will be the last 7 years of the world.
Many Christians are too afraid to read this part of Book of Revelations because it is just too horrible to think about and contemplate on. However, God is specifically telling us what is going to happen with these judgments.
IF GOD DID NOT WANT US TO KNOW OR HAVE THIS INFORMATION DUE TO THE INTENSITY AND SEVERITY OF THESE JUDGMENTS, HE WOULD HAVE NEVER PUT IT IN THE BIBLE. BUT SINCE HE DID, THAT MEANS HE WANTS US TO HAVE THIS INFORMATION FOR OUR OWN KNOWLEDGE AND TO ALSO TO BE ABLE TO PASS THIS ONTO OTHERS IF THESE EVENTS START TO OCCUR IN OUR LIFETIME.
Get Out Those Legos
March 9, 2008
Many of my clients are working harder than smarter. This is not a put-down of their intelligence. It is a statement about the conventions of the way most of us live and work. Without a concerted effort to step back and take an objective look at how we function day in and day out, we find ourselves subject to old ways of doing things without periodic checkups to see if they are working.
The first step to changing the high stress road to burnout approach to your work day is to build in "joy breaks" or mini refreshers. It is not true that you get more done if you don’t stop for lunch or other refreshing breaks during the day. On the contrary, I always remember the days I sat at my desk searching for a solution to a particular problem. I tried very hard to come up with the answer and was not successful.
In the afternoon of the second day, I threw my hands in the air, exasperated, and went out to pull a few weeds from my garden. That’s when the light bulb went off and I had the answer.
Babel vs. the PC
March 8, 2008
Imagine a time when mankind was young. Migration led many to the land of Shinar. It was during that time, that man came together and decided to build not only a city but a tower that would reach the heavens. Seeing the structure, the Lord was not very pleased. In fact, He knew what trouble this could lead to, so He confused mankind with different languages and scattered them across the face of the earth. Thus, is the story of Babel. (Babylon, the remains of an ancient city, is now located in Iraq.)
Eerily, times of a rich, historical past parallel today’s society. The familiarity to modern civilization is uncanny. In the biblical tale of the tower of Babel, men came together with one language and one common goal: the desire to control the land and all that lay beneath the tower. Making the impossible - possible to Human nature.
Compassion and Plenty
March 7, 2008
He Showed ‘Compassion’
He made lots where there was only little. He exceeded well beyond what man thought was needed…
How Will They Eat?
In John 6, Jesus was the one that brought up the subject. He asked Philip where they should buy the bread so that the multitude of people could eat.
Philip knew even a lot of money wouldn’t be enough for everyone to even have a little bit.
The lack
Philip immediately looked at how much there wasn’t. The lack. He didn’t look at the situation as an opportunity for Jesus to do a miracle.
Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, told him that there was a boy there that had two fish and five loves of bread. He told Jesus that he knew it wasn’t much for so many people. He didn’t see it as an opportunity for Jesus to show His love.
You may have heard about the miracle. There were about 5,000 men. -In the Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries the word ‘men’ here meant ‘males’. The number doesn’t include the women or children that were there! At only one child per couple there would have been closer to 15,000 people!
